A loan of PKR 60,000 helped expand a fancy clothing business.

Sahabzadi Kausar Saddique from Lahore is an ambitious mother of three young children and an artisan who wants to expand her business of fancy clothing. As an empowered woman, she decided to stand side by side with her husband in running the household. 15 years ago, she took up teaching in a school and after 5 years, started stitching clothes for a living. She kept investing in her skillset and perfected her embroidery. 5 years ago, she started doing embroidery work on a commercial basis and worked very hard to establish her customers. Kausar is a determined woman who, through her hard work, has established a decent business and is getting orders on a daily basis from Azam and ShahAlam market.

Kausar is a superwoman. She takes out ample time to educate her children, fulfills her motherly responsibilities and dedicates the remaining time to her physically demanding work. Moreover, Kausar takes care of her 100-year-old grandmother who is a cancer patient and does not let her other commitments come in the way of perfectly looking after her.

Let’s donate to Sahabzadi Kausar Saddique because when you empower a woman, you empower the world. A talented woman like her highly deserves to be supported in her creative business.
