Sheikh Sharjeel Jelani is a 34-year-old man with four children who resides in a slum area in Gujranwala. He and his wife are illiterate but they want their children to be educated and get ahead in life. Sharjeel's total expenses exceed his total income and at times he does not have money to pay the bills, let alone serve food on the plate of his children.
