A loan of $216 helped expand a business of hygiene products.
Muhammad Sajjad Khan is a needy 51-year-old father who is struggling in his life just to provide for his 6 children. Sajjad, based in Faisalabad, lives in a semi urban locality with poor conditions of his house. Sajjad, being the sole breadwinner, of his family puts in extra effort in his work in order to make extra income. Currently, he sells tooth brushes on a small scale and earns a limited amount of profit. Since his children grew older, their needs have multiplied but his income has remained the same. Despite going through tough times, Sajjad made sure all of his children attend school. However, his eldest son, Hamza left studies at the age of 17 and started working as an auto mechanic in a work shop. Sajjad, being the support system of his family, is having difficulty in handling his problems. Sajjad has requested a micro loan of $216 from Seed Out's crowd funding platform to expand his business of tooth brushes. He wants to add more items in his stock such as good quality tooth brushes, air freshners and other bathroom accessories. This will increase his profits and he will be able to manage his household expenses well enough.
It helps a person escape the burden of poverty and improve the livelihood of his family.
