For Liaqat Sardar, a 51-year-old father, life came to a halt when he was diagnosed with a chronic breathing problem two years ago. Previously working as a laborer for 20 years at a mud pottery factory, he was forced to leave his profession. Liaqat's unemployment came as a shock for his family which led to extreme poverty at his household. There came a time when Liaqat and his family could hardly arrange a single meal in a day. Income became stagnant but the expenses kept on increasing. Unfortunately, Liaqat's younger son, Jabran, was dropped out of school when he was in 8th class in order to start earning for the family. Throughout this tough time, Liaqat's wife became the backbone of the family. She worked tirelessly as a nurse in the hospital so that her family could eat proper meals. Liaqat and his wife considers education of their children as the number one priority and when Jabran left school, it was disappointing for the whole family. Liaqat has requested a loan of ₨200,000 from Seed Out to purchase an auto rickshaw. Liaqat's short experience of driving an auto rickshaw makes him worthy of the loan. Income that will be earned by driving an auto rickshaw will give financial freedom to Liaqat and his family. He will be able to manage the household expenses such as paying house rent and utility bills. Liaqat and his wife are committed to send Jabran back to school, donation from Seed Out's crowdfunding platform will help them save money for higher education of their children. They want all four of their children to have well-paying jobs in order to have a better life. They also want their children to live in a better home where the hygiene conditions are good for a healthier lifestyle.
