A loan of $414 helped to buy an auto-rickshaw.
Tanveer Abbas is a 29-year-old father of three very young children. He is struggling to meet the demands of his household. Living in harsh conditions in Bahawalnagar, low income has led to their destitute situation. For the past few years, Tanveer has been driving a rented auto-rickshaw in the city which not only proved costly for him but generated less income. His brother, Zaheer, works at a restaurant to support his brother. His wife, Fozia, and his mother, Gulzar, stitches clothes at home and works as a domestic worker respectively. Both the women help contribute to the household income as Tanveer alone cannot manage the household expenses on his own. Despite multiple people contributing to the household income, their expenses remain unfulfilled as income level in Bahawalnagar are low. Tanveer reached out to Seed Out Bahawalnagar Office and requested a micro-loan to escape his problems. He wants a loan of $414 to purchase an auto-rickshaw. Having his own rickshaw will allow him to drive more number of customers in the city. Compared to the rented one, his extra costs will be cut down. His income will prove enough to run his household easily. His family's livelihood will improve.
It helps manage the household expenses and reduces the burden of poverty.
