Before starting his own business in retail, Ghulam was involved in carpentry for 3 years, the hotel industry for 2 years and worked as a shopkeeper for 10 years - suffice it to say, he has ample work experience to his name, and he has a keen understanding of the workings of a good retail store. He is the sole source of income for his family, with his monthly earnings from the store amounting to some $150. With business expenses in the range of $30-$50, as well as domestic expenses roughly $230, it is no surprise that Ghulam is looking for a way to expand his business and improve the volume of his sales.
