A loan of $586 helped to buy an auto-rickshaw.
Islam was deprived of education at a very young age and was sent away from home to become a victim of child labour. At the time when most children would have books in their hands, Islam had to work on a sewing machine to stitch garments all day and all night. Such harsh conditions made his life full of advertisers and the lack of education only added to his problems.  He now has a family and is blessed with two daughters who are enrolled in schools. However, his income regularly falls short to the needs of his family no matter how hard he tries to earn a sustainable livelihood. An additional source of income is inevitable in this scenario. He lives in a house of 20 people where he is given only one room for his entire family and shared living means that they have to sacrifice their privacy and hygiene.  After looking around for different business options, he came across the idea to buy an autorickshaw that he can rent out and earn some additional income. He has therefore pursued the loan and hopes that this additional income will help him cover the expenses he falls short of each month.
It uplifts the economic status of Islam and helps him cover his monthly expenses with ease
