A loan of $216 helped expand a sweets shop.

Muhammad Ashraf and his wife both were born into very poor households and were not sent to school ever. This is not the fate they wanted for children. Although having extremely limited resources which were never enough to make ends meet, they still sent all their children to school. His eldest daughter, 16-year-old Sabahat, attends school and also gives tuitions at home. She earns Rs. 12,000 and supports her family. The younger two daughters and son also go to school. The educational expenses are supported by Sabahat and her father. Ashraf's livelihood is the sweets business that he runs for the past 30 years. The shop/stall is very small scale and Ashraf wants to expand it. He needs a loan of $216 to buy the material needed for making sweets and fried items. This will boost his income and make life easier for the family. If you want to support Muhammad Ashraf and his ambition to educate his children, please donate to him.
