A loan of $586 helped to buy an auto-rickshaw.
In Lahore, a populated city of Pakistan, 34-year-old Muhammad Shakeel works as an auto rickshaw driver. However, he struggles to provide basic needs for his family. He drives a rented rickshaw daily and pays a certain amounts from the profits he makes as rent and the fuel expenses further reduces his income. The profits were small. He can only afford his family infrequent meals. And he struggles to send his children to school, though his elder son is enrolled in school, he is unable to admit his second son because of lack of funds. He is aware that they needed a proper education, but with no money to pay for it, he feels helpless. A friend of Shakeel understood her plight and encouraged her to join Seedout. After joining Seedout, Shakeel will receive his first loan of $586 which he will use to buy an auto rickshaw. Shakeel is hopeful that slowly but surely, the loan will pay off. He wants his children to attend school regularly and his family eats healthily. His future plan is to save money to purchase a car and have better income.
