A loan of $216 helped to expand a grocery store for a widow.

When Shameem Akhtar lost her husband, she was devastated. She did not even have any children. Shameem was left all alone to look after herself. This was a very dark time for her as she did not have anyone to share her grief with. Just her in an empty house. Shameem had no option but to look for ways to start earning as soon as possible. In the meanwhile, her neighbors came to her help and donated whatever little they could so at least she did not have to sleep hungry. Shameem gathered courage and with the very few savings that she had, she brought essential items in bulk and displayed them in her house so people would buy from her. It cannot be called a proper grocery store. Shameem has been selling such essential household items for 9 years now. All she gets to earn is Rs. 3000-4000 from which she can just afford to buy food and extremely essential items. There are times when she cannot even afford those and her neighbors help her out. Shameem only has Rs. 5000 worth of stock and she wants to add more. She has approached Seed Out for a loan of $216 to increase her stock. How much Shameem is in need of help cannot be stressed enough. She's extremely poor and it becomes a duty for us to help her. Please donate to Shameem.

It helps an old widow with no other source of income to earn a living.
