A loan of $180 helped expand a yarn knitting business.

31-year-old Muqadas Shafqat from Faisalabad and her husband both work together as a team. For the past 12 years, they have been running a small business of yarn knitting, which has allowed the couple to provide food and education to their two young children, a son and a daughter. The children take a lot of interest in their studies and it is this which motivates Muqadas and her husband to strive for better. Unfortunately, they are very poor and are not able to give much to their children, something which always breaks their hearts. As Muqadas came to Seed Out, she told us with tears how she is willing to work tirelessly to keep her children happy. Sadly, they don't have enough stock for their business and their sales are at rock-bottom, adding to their financial worries. They urgently need more stock as winter is here and they need to make the most out of the selling season. If no one helps them now, they are in for a year of hardship on a tight budget.

Muqadas has requested a loan of $180 from Seed out to buy stock for their business. This will help them save for the next year and pay their home rent. If you support women empowerment and want to see hardworking ladies supporting their households, please donate to Muqadas.
