A loan of $180 helped start a garments business.

Parveen Akhtar, 60-year-old woman fro Gujranwala, has always believed in taking action to correct situations. She grew up in a poor household and later her husband could also not earn enough and she, and her 2 children, used to live in very tight financial conditions. Parveen never complained about it though. Her response to the situation was to open up a clothes shop that she has been running from her home for 20 years now.  Unfortunately, due to some reason, Parveen had to close her business. This was a hard time for the family and to regain whatever they were earing before, Parveen has now decided to restart the business. She has started it at a very small scale which is not sustainable at the moment. To make it sustainable, Parveen needs a larger stock and thus she has asked for a loan of $180 to buy more variety and quantity of stock. Parveen really needs your help. She has two children, and she wants to get her daughter married soon. From what she earns, Parveen will be able to save some money to make decent arrangements for the wedding. Please help her during her time of need.
