A loan of $180 helped to expand a general store.
Muhammad Tariq Javed belongs to a low-income household in Gujranwala. His family is deprived of the necessities of life as his income does not meet his needs. Tariq recently set up a general store on a small scale with minimum investment. Covering the rent and costs of the inventory leaves him with a minimum amount at the end of each month. Tariq’s wife, Nazia, contributes to the household income as she stitches clothes at home. Both Tariq and Nazia are supporting the household and providing their children with the necessities only. Tariq wants to provide quality education to his children, but his financial condition tells an entirely different story. As per our social mobilizers, Tariq is a well-known person in his locality and is known as one of the hard-working people. In this tough time, Tariq could only ask for help. Fortunately, Tariq was referred to Seed Out by his community fellow. Tariq applied for a loan of $180 to escape his current scenario. Tariq wants to expand his general store by adding more inventory. He is expecting that his business will grow fast as he can target a large number of customers in his locality. He will be able to afford more than the basic necessities and will provide his children with quality education.
It helps ease the financial pressure of the breadwinner of the family.
