Aqeela has started his business.
In a country where marriage for women is often looked at as means of financial security; Aqila Bibi, provides for the needs of her family. Her husband, who suffers from a brain clot and partial paralysis, and her three children, all minors, are entirely dependent on her. She currently runs a general store. However, it is poorly stocked. Factoring in only a few of her expenses, such as electricity and gas bills, and one of her children’s tuition fee; she is left with low amount, which barely covers grocery, medical, and other expenses, leaving no room for investment into expansion of her store, or affording quality medical treatment, or the capacity to send her other two children to school. Aqila Bibi, like everybody else, wants the best for her future. Though her definition of the best is premised upon necessities; affording education for her children so that they manage to achieve more than what she has, medical care for her husband to add life to his years, and enough money to consistently feed her family of five. Equipped with little more than the very bare minimum level of literacy and a small scarcely stocked store, but unwavering determination and perseverance; Aqila Bibi sets out to shoulder unconventional responsibilities in a patriarchal society. With an initial fund, and training in her relevant field, with the help of Seed Out, would increase her income. Also, it would polish her leadership and communication skills, and not only allow her to better afford the luxury of a education, health and food, but also impart a positive influence on her family and local community; owing to her active involvement in social and community life
