Fozia Bibi is a 37-year-old mother of 4 who wants to give her children the best of everything along with taking care of all their needs. Fozia, being an ambitious woman, does everything possible in her space to provide for her family. She previously worked from home for 7 years by stitching clothes and then selling them in the market or within the neighborhood. She was doing this on a very small scale and therefore her earnings were limited. Her husband being a bus conductor only earns a limited amount which he spends on managing food, school fees and bills. Now that her children are growing up fast, their expenses have increased and their household needs are not properly met.
To escape the everyday struggle, Fozia has sought Seed Out's help. Through Seed Out's crowd funding platform, she requires a loan of PKR 40,000 to expand her garment business. Fozia believes that she can earn a reasonable income if her stock is increased. By purchasing greater unstitched cloth, threads, buttons etc., she will be able to stitch more clothes, increase her sales and hence her income. Her children's needs would be easily met and household expenses would be managed properly.
