A loan of PKR 60,000 helped to expand a garment business.
Nazia Nazeer is a 34-year-old mother of 4 from Bahawalnagar who works tirelessly for her kids to get the best from life. Nazia, in her home, makes optimum use of her time and resources as she not only manages the needs of her husband and kids but also stitches clothes from home in order to support her husband in managing the household expenses. There are multiple needs of Nazia's children which are not fulfilled due to their limited income. Nazia's husband, Ghulam Shabbir, works as a staff in court and earns a small amount of income. Nazia, being a supportive wife, is able to purchase only a limited stock of unstitched clothes because of less money available. Her household situation becomes extremely tense at the end of each month as they have to pay the house rent. Also, their living conditions are extremely poor. In order to escape her misery, Nazia has sought Seed Out's help. She has requested a loan of PKR 60,000 in order to expand her clothing business. She wishes to buy unstitched clothes in bulk and also some accessories like buttons, threads and needles to stitch and sell larger number of clothes to her customers. This will increase her profits which will provide for her household expenses and care for her children's needs.
It helps empower a female entrepreneur and manage her household expenses.
