A loan of $108 helped to expand a garments business.
Nazia is a 32-year old mother of three who has had a life full of ups and downs. She was faced with multiple problems when her husband left her. Most of her time was spent in court when she had to fight for the custody of her children but luckily she won in the end. Nazia is now married again but her husband only supports her partially. Her second husband also has another wife and kids to support and a major portion of his income is also spent on them. Nazia also contributes to the household income by stitching clothes at home. She has been doing this for the past 10 years but is able to earn only a small amount. Two of her children attend school and in future she wants all three of them to attend school and attain higher education. In order to provide a better livelihood to her family, Nazia has requested a loan from Seed Out of $108 to expand her clothing business. She intends to purchase more unstitched fabric, buttons, threads etc. to increase her sales. She will be able to sell more items to her existing customers and target new ones as well. This will provide for her household income and pay for her children's needs.
It helps empower a female entrepreneur and helps a mother to provide for her kids.
