A loan of $216 helped to purchase a larger quantity of tea.
Muhammad Hussain, a 38-year-old father of 8 strives each day just to make his children's life better. Although the burden of poverty has made parenting of 6 daughters and 2 sons difficult for Hussain and his wife but they did not lose hope. Hussain sells packaged tea and juices under the brand name, 'Punjab Food', targeting different villages and localities near Bahawalnagar. Unfortunately, due to the presence of insufficient funds, there is a limited amount of stock to sell. His wife, Bushra plays a supporting role and tries her best to contribute towards the household income. She stitches clothes for people in the locality. Hussain feels helpless when he is unable to overcome struggles of inadequate food, low-quality education, and poor housing. There are days when he is unable to put food on the table and his children are unable to pay their school fees. Also, living in a brick house with uncovered kitchen and bathroom shows how difficult life is for Hussain and his family. It is praise worthy that despite his financial struggles, Hussain values education of his children more than anything else. Hussain has requested a micro-loan of $216 to buy more stock of tea. He wants to increase his sales by selling more tea packs. He believes that he can easily sell packaged boxes of tea to nearby villages which will generate more revenue and a result his business will grow. With greater quantities of tea to sell, he will be able to target new customers and retain the previous ones. The donation through Seed Out's crowdfunding platform will help Hussain earn and save more. His family will be happy as they will not have to worry about getting food on the table each time. He will get the walls of his house cemented and cover the roofs of kitchen and bathroom which will improve hygiene and sanitary conditions.
It gives a person financial security to provide quality food and education to his children.
