A loan of $216 helped Rehman to expand his grocery store.
Rehman Ali, a 36-year-old man is faced with hardships of a poverty-stricken life while surviving in the rural area of Bahawalnagar. A sense of desperation arises in Rehman's household to escape the vicious cycle of poverty. Every month, Rehman suffers from endless problems ranging from managing meals for the family to buying stock for his store to paying school fees of his children. Rehman owns a small grocery store for which he works tirelessly but his earnings are very limited. Whatever amount he earns is spent on meeting the expenses of his household and business. This limited amount of income does not lead to growth in business rather the cycle of earning and spending continues with no savings for Rehman. He has two young boys who go to private school. Although, they are quite young but Rehman does not compromise on their education. He wants them to have the opportunity that he did not have. Rehman has requested a micro-loan of $216 in order to purchase multiple products for the expansion of his grocery store. He plans to add more products such as detergents, soaps, shampoos and other items which can be bought by the customers of the surrounding areas. This will increase his daily sale and more revenue will be generated. Rehman is positive that the donation from Seed Out's crowdfunding platform will be of extreme help. It will grow the business which will lead to the improvement of his financial and household conditions in terms of number of meals, health care and hygiene facility. He will invest on his children's higher education for them to live a quality life.
It will help struggling fathers provide a better life to their children.
