A loan of $180 helped to expand a grocery store.
Majida Bibi is a widow that is a beacon of light for all financially struggling women in our society. She runs her own grocery store and has an experience of twelve years in retailing. However, due to increasing expenses she is now facing many financial constraints. She lives in a small house in a semi-urban region with her four children (one son and three daughters) and a daughter-in-law. Her son is a painter and her daughter is a teacher but both earn quite meagre wages. Rest of the members in her family are jobless so they do not really contribute financially. A contribution through us will enable her to expand her grocery store and in return earn more business revenue. This will improve her household finances and it will alleviate much of the burden that she is bearing and make her an independent and strong woman. Furthermore it will also generate some economic activity in the locality.
This contribution will help a widow expand her business and realize her potential of being an entrepreneur. She can be a leading example for women restricted to their homes unable to do even a small outdoor task.
