Muhammad Shabbir, a 45-year-old father of 4 children puts in extra effort in his work to fight poverty everyday. Living in Bahawalnagar's slum area, every other day is a struggle for Shabbir and his family. Shabbir works double time in order to earn some extra income. In the first half of the day, he provides medical consultation to the people in the neighboring areas and in the second half, he runs a small grocery store with limited amount of stock. Moreover, Shabbir's wife, Shagufta teaches in a school to support her husband and fulfill her children's needs. Unfortunately, their combined income remain insufficient to run the household. Shabbir's household conditions are extremely poor and his kids suffer as often times arranging two meals per day for them becomes difficult for Shabbir. In order to escape his problems, Shabbir reached out to Seed Out. He has requested a micro-loan of $216 from Seed Out's crowd funding platform. The donations will help Shabbir expand his grocery store by adding more stock. He will be able to increase his sales and grow his business in order to provide enough to his family and fulfil their needs.
