A loan of $180 helped to expand a grocery store.
Muhammad Rafique, a 57-year-old father of four lives in a semi urban area of Bahawalnagar. Rafique has spent his life in poverty and does not want his children to live the same way. Having a 16 year experience of running a grocery store, Rafique was never able to save and earn more from his store due to limited inventory. Rafique has always wanted that all of his children attend school but because of limited finances, Rafique’s elder daughter could not. Now Rafique plans to save some money so that he can get his children married and he also wants to become financially independent. His conditions at home are poor in terms of hygiene and sanitation. Rafique has requested a loan of ₨50,000 to expand his grocery store by adding more items to his inventory. He will be able to provide his customers with wider range of products which will eventually increase his revenue and hence the profit. He believes the loan will help him save enough money for his children’s higher education and wedding. He plans to also improve the conditions of hygiene and sanitation so that his family remains healthy. We can help this hardworking man by donating from the platform of crowdfunding.
