A loan of $216 helped expand an electric works business.

54-year-old Muhammad Ashraf from Faislabad only has a primary education and his wife is illiterate. Though the couple could not get enough education, they were adamant that no matter the circumstances, their children will be educated. Their commitment paid off and it is a matter of pride for them that their eldest daughter works as a teacher at a private school, earning Rs. 3,500 monthly. A younger daughter and a son are also getting education whereas the elder son is working with his father.

Ashraf runs his business, "Ashraf Electric Works" and has an experience of 32 years in this field. He has trained his son well who will continue doing the business. This is the only source of income for the family and their needs are met out of what Ashraf and his son make from the business. Sadly, this is not much as the father and son combined earn only Rs. 25,000 which is simply not enough for a family of 6. Ashraf has no savings but a lot of responsibilities. He has to keep paying his children's fees and get his eldest daughter married, who is now 24.

Since Ashraf had no savings, he approached Seed Out for a loan of $216 to expand his business by adding greater inventory. This will enable him to cater to more customers and increase sales. Ashraf is working day and night to earn and save for his daughter's marriage. To help improve the family's financial condition, please donate to Ashraf and his son's business.
