Pakistan Floods Appeal
Pakistan is currently experiencing one of its worst natural disasters ever. Millions of people have been displaced from their homes and are trying to survive.
At least 1,000 people have died since June 15th, with 343 deaths among them being recorded by the NDMA, which has declared large parts of the southwest region of Pakistan flooded, bringing back memories of the deadly 2010 floods.

The Pakistani government has been working around the clock to help those affected by the devastating floods in Pakistan. More than 20 million people have been affected by the flood waters, and over 1 million homes have been destroyed. In addition to the human suffering, the loss of crops and livestock means that food supplies could soon run out.
2. Urgent action needed to prevent famine
The United Nations estimates that some 12 million people may need emergency aid if the situation continues. If the current scale of flooding worsens, millions of people could face starvation.
