Online Fundraising Platforms That Work

1. Seed Out

Seed Out is a nonprofit crowdfunding platform that provides small loans to entrepreneurs who want to start their own businesses. We help aspiring micro-entrepreneurs access the tools, training, and support they need to grow their businesses. A single donation can change their lives by providing them with a source of sustainable income. With our innovative micro-financing model and robust micro-funding platform, you can ensure that your donation, Zakat, or Sadqa reaches the intended beneficiary of your choice. We don’t give out hard cash; rather, we focus on helping people build their businesses so they can earn an income. Our goal is to make sure that every donation goes directly to the recipient.

How does it work?

We upload profiles of all candidates and you choose who you want to help. Then we fund them directly to start their own businesses or help them grow their existing ones. Each donation made through Seed Out pays both material and symbolic advantages to the beneficiaries. It helps promote opportunity, stability, and entrepreneurship where they've had very little of all three before.

Seed Out is more than a charity

We provide entrepreneurial solutions for the underprivileged which far exceeds traditional charity and relief work. Our core team creates an immediate double impact on the micro-enterprise owners. Micro-finance for entrepreneurship Skills development and Training Seed Out’s core team takes back recoveries of easy installments without any administrative fees. The recovered installments are put into a revolving fund to raise more micro-business owners.

According to the World Bank in Pakistan, 90% percent of the workforce is highly entrepreneurial but it’s estimated that 80% of these people can not apply for a traditional loan due to a lack of collateral. Our concept is working toward fixing this inequity by offering completely 100% interest-free loans to the poor. Seed Out is the answer to the problems of all the people who live in the vicious cycle of extreme poverty. We currently operate within underprivileged areas and wish to expand more.

Our focus

Women and differently-able persons are a priority for loan repayment. Equal treatment is given to loan applicants regardless of gender, religion, caste, or race. Most loan applicants approach us through our field mobilization and door-to-door mobilization activities. Field officers also recognize extremely needy loan applicants on the field.
