My name is Ayesha Bashir, and I am a dedicated student in the 6th semester of BS Special Education at Punjab University, Lahore, Pakistan. I am reaching out to you hoping that you will assist me in turning my academic dreams into reality. Education is not just a means to a better future; it is a pathway to uplift my family and contribute positively to my community. I come from a hardworking but financially struggling family of six. My father, Muhammad Bashir, works as a cleaner in a private factory, and my mother does housework in other people’s homes to help support us. Despite their sacrifices, they struggle to pay for my education and my three younger siblings, Awais and Saif, who are in college, and Mariyam, who is in 9th grade.

Education has always been important in our family, but affording it is becoming harder every day. My parents work tirelessly to provide for us, yet the rising tuition fees are overwhelming. Recently, I overheard them discussing how they might not be able to pay for my next semester. The thought of leaving university crushed me, but I knew I had to do something.

I started looking for scholarships and found one that could change my life. This scholarship would allow me to continue my education without adding to my parents’ burden. My dream is to work with children with special needs, to help those who often go unnoticed.
