Muhammad Saleem Akhtar is a hardworking man living in a poor locality of Bahawalnagar. It is a hard time for Saleem and his family when everything has become very expensive. Saleem works two jobs to cover the expenses of his household. For many years, Saleem worked as the imam of a mosque in a nearby locality. After he got married, his responsibilities and expenses increased significantly. Unable to cover his costs, he started his business of packaging food and masala items and sell them to retail stores. Saleem is known as a generous man in his society. Our social mobilizers also confirmed that his livelihood is extremely poor. He has two children, a daughter and a son. His daughter attends a private school. Unable to manage his children's needs, Saleem reached Seed Out for assistance. He requested a loan of $140 to expand his food packaging business. Saleem wants to increase his sales and profits by targeting more number of retail stores. With the increase in sales, he can grow his business and target stores outside of his local area. The business expansion will improve the living condition of Saleem and his family.
